Editor review
Step Cycle is a basic step-tile arcade with cosmetic monetisation pressure. Step on tiles in cycle order. The format is functional but monetisation undermines it.
What works is the cycle-indicator. The current step sequence is shown clearly at the top of the screen.
What does not work is the depth. Every level uses the same step-in-order mechanic. No variations.
Tested over one Wellington commute before stopping. Touch and mouse input both work.
Where the game tries hardest is the cosmetic shop. Twenty different tile themes through grindable currency.
Where I would push back is the monetisation. Ads after every cycle. Paid skip. The basic format does not justify the load.
Two-and-a-half stars. Functional basic step-tile arcade ruined by monetisation. Skip.
