Editor review

Lattice Bloom is a cascade-bloom puzzle-arcade with depth I have not seen in browser bloom games before this one. Trigger one cell; the bloom cascades to matching adjacent cells. Optimal trigger paths produce long cascades. One hundred levels across five themes plus daily challenges.

What works is the cascade-prediction layer. Players can read the lattice and predict cascade paths before triggering. Skilled play produces twenty-cell cascades from a single trigger; unskilled play stops at three or four cells.

One hundred levels with lattice-density and colour-variety escalating per tier. Tier one has small lattices with three colours. Tier five has dense lattices with seven colours.

Tested across maybe fifteen hours over a month. Wellington cable-car commutes plus weekend Botanic Garden cafe sessions. Touch tap is the natural input. Mouse-click also works.

Where the design earns its high rating is the daily-bloom challenge. Fresh lattice every day with leaderboard ranking by longest cascade. The competitive layer extends the format meaningfully.

Where I would push back is the absence of a tutorial demonstrating cascade prediction. New players who do not realise cascades can chain take a few levels to figure out the depth.

Four-and-a-half stars. Strong cascade-bloom puzzle-arcade with thoughtful daily challenge. Recommended.
