Editor review

Glide Tyre is a sprint racer focused on twelve tight tracks. Each track runs under ninety seconds. The race-length cap is the design choice that defines the format; you never sit in a race long enough to get bored and never short enough to feel cheated.

The handling is reflex-first. Drift assist on by default, aggressive AI in the mid-tier, and the AI defends the inside line on hairpin corners. The result is a racer that rewards line-reading more than throttle control.

I played across a couple of weekends and several Wellington Wellington cable car commutes. The format suits the commute length. Each ride fits five to seven races.

The flaw is the track variety. Twelve tracks is fine for a sprint format but two of them share a layout with only a colour-swap. A wider track pool would help. Three stars; the format works and the catalogue is shorter than it should be.
